In an article by TechRepublic we leatn of the release of the impending Ubuntu phons that will be made by 2 large companies over in Europe. No word on carriers but good news is that the OS runs in HTML 5 and a lot of apps on android and IOS will be available day one. The phones and tablets are being coded just like the desktop since they are all using Unity the learning curve should almost be zero. Especially given the fact the OS had been out on the wild for people to mess with.
