Snow Storm Prank from 2004

It was brought to my attention that back in Feb 2004 an awesome prank was pulled on local news station News 14 of Raleigh. They had just began using a feature that allowed folks to update their business closings. Well as luck would so have it some NCSU students figured out how to use this to their advantage and so what you see below is the consequences and oh how hilarious they are:

Razer's Nabu Wearable Tech Band

I've kinda become a fan of the wearable tech bands that track stuff. I have one that tracks my steps because I get so little exercise that counting my steps during the day tends to be a cool thing for me. More and more wearable tech is coming out and it interesting. I don't really need something to replace my watch but I would like something that can send me notifications from my phone and such. This would be handy so that I wouldn't have to frequently take my phone out of my pocket to see who emailed, texted, or called me. One of the newer bands to preview at CES was Razer's Nabu. They are primarily known for their gaming hardware so its a bit of a surprise to see that are displaying some of this tech. Nonetheless I'm interested in seeing what they have to offer especially since their band has 2 LED screens. Something cool to keep in mind is that if you sign up on the developers site for Razer you might be able to get the band for $49 versus what it could cost when it comes out. LED light bulbs Cheap!!....Maybe

If you are like me and are trying to replace the light bulbs in your apartment or house with LED then I have a spot for you to goto. I was browsing in Walmart and saw they had their Great Value brand for a decent price. Decent price I mean it was about $5.88 for a 60w bulb. They had another bulb their listed a $3.88 but it was out of stock and if your Walmart is anything like mine then finding a sales person to help you is slim to none. I found this LED bulbs in the Raleigh-Durham Area of North Carolina. YMMV but it worth looking for. Also don't look for these on the Walmart website because though they do appear their pricing is nothing like what you may see in store. Good luck in your searches.

Playstation Now?

Sony is going to be starting a service that will stream games to your PS4, PS3, Vita, and newer Bravia tvs. That means you can rent or buy games to play on these consoles. This sounds great and what Remote Play for the PS3 was suppose to be. I hope that this will be a better version of that and that you also stream games you own on disc to your Vita. Playstation Plus Free Games: DMC and Borderlands 2

If you are subscribers to Playstation+ then you should be adding DMC and Borderlands 2 to your gaming list if you don't already own them. I recommend anyone who doesn't have Playstation+ to invest in it. Revival of the blog?
